The Guardians Of Thrace

The project focuses on the environmental education of adolescents, as commitment to environmental protection begins at an early age when the most important habits and lifestyles are formed.
The project involves young people on both sides of the border actively participating in environmental protection activities in the cross border region. They will be trained in basic environmental aspects and will be familiar with the current environmental conditions in the region in which they live.
Children grow up with the idea that everything can be replaced, that the sources are inexhaustible and it is good to have many things. These ideas are not usually related to the nature, but when children are confronted with the cycle of natural creation, they realize the importance of environmental protecting, preserving and restoring.
The implementation of the project will contribute to raising the awareness of the environmental culture and behaviour of the project participants, their families, teachers and students in the respective schools and the local community.

Proje faaliyetleri, COVID-19'un yayılmasını önlemek için alınan önlemlerin koşullarının neden olduğu planlanan program ve uygulama biçiminde bir değişiklikle uygulandı.

Trakya Muhafizlari projesi, simrin her iki tarafindaki genglerin hayal gucu ve co§kusuna odaklamyor. Tarih ve doga bakimindan bu guzel ve zengin bolgenin mirasgilari istek ve heyecanla proje faaliyetlerine girdiler. Onlar Trakya'nm dogasim koruyacak, dostlanna ve ailelerine ilham verecek, onlardan sonraki nesillere dogal kaynaklari koruyacak insanlardir. Qevre egitimi uzun ve karma§ik bir sure? olup, proje faaliyetleri ile gengleri Dogamn ihtiyaglarim fark etmeye yonlendirme ve onlari korunmasi igin faaliyetlere yonlendirme hedefine ula§ilmi§tir. Dogal kaynaklarin surdurulebilir kullammi da proje faaliyetlerinin bir pargasiydi. Proje ortaklari, ortak ulkelerde faaliyet gosteren egitim kurumlaridir. Projenin hedef grubu, Bulgaristan ve Turkiye'den 10-15 ya§ arasi ogrencileri igermektedir. Ogrenciler, teorik bilgileri konu§malar, yuvarlak masalar, dersler ve agag dikme, laboratuvar kitleriyle gali§ma gibi pratik bolumler §eklinde ig ige gegirerek, ekolojik fikrin elgileri olarak gelecekteki geligimleri igin akranlari arasinda iyi bir temel elde ettiler.
