We are multidisciplinary team working on nature conservation following the principals of the modern conservation biology. Development of sustainable nature friendly tourism is one of our goals. Science for Nature Foundation was established in 2014 as a natural extension of the activities of our board members. 2.1. Increasing the touristic attractiveness of the cross-border area through better utilisation of natural, cultural and historical heritage and related infrastructure
Short description of the project idea: 
Partners: 1. Science for Nature Foundation, Haskovo, Bulgaria 2. Municipality of Madzharovo 3. Partner from Turkey…. Potential activities: 1. Restoration / marking of hiking/cycling/kayaking touristic routes (incl. establishment / reconstruction of picnic places and fountains) 2. Construction of photographic / observation hide for wild animals 3. Construction of bridge between Madzharovo and the camping site 4. Online observation of birds nests (vultures, golden eagle, buzzards, black storks) 5. Survey and mapping of biodiversity (incl. use of photo traps) 6. Web based interactive map of the touristic destination in the regions 7. Capacity building activities – training of guides 8. Mobile application for exploring the trans-border regions 9. Exhibitions and festivals 10. Awareness rising – social media work, website, printed info material 11. Conference “Tourism and biodiversity” 12. Video clips 13.
