EC Day 2018 – “Painting our future together” in the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage

Interreg – IPA CBC Bulgaria – Turkey Programme would like to invite you to the celebration of the European Cooperation Day 2018 under the motto “Painting our future together”. The goal of this year’s event is to increase the cultural understanding among young people in the cross-border region.

The event will target children of kindergarten age from both sides of the border. In the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, the participants will demonstrate their creative skills by drawing, painting and having a lot of fun. The program includes also a musical performance prepared specially for the event by the kids. Through a video connection, the participants from Kindergarten № 6 "Valshebstvo", Burgas, Bulgaria will congratulate their friends from Kindergarten Nilufer Hatun, Edirne, Turkey.

The European Cooperation Day /ECD/ will be celebrated across Europe and in neighbouring countries for the seventh consecutive year in September 2018. The aim of the campaign which is coordinated by the INTERACT Programme in association with the European Commission, and supported by the Committee of the Regions and the European Parliament, is to celebrate the achievements of cooperation between European regions and countries.
