Objectives and tasks of the Association 1. Stimulates and supports the building of active civil societies for development; 2. Works to strengthen the role of the Association as a civic organization and community development center with cultural, educational, informational, social and civic functions; 3. Cooperates in the development of informed and effective citizen participation; 4. Develops and implements new policies and approaches for the development of active citizens' communities aimed at improving the quality of life; 5. Assists the application of the principles of good governance; 6. Cooperates to the preservation and development of our national cultural identity as part of the multicultural European space; 7. Contributes to creating a modern and accessible information environment for local communities; 8. Assists in building community capacity to raise, increase and share resources in public interest causes; 9. Enhances the knowledge, skills and qualifications of community groups in support of local development; 10. Contributes to the development and implementation of approaches to the inclusion and support of socially excluded community groups; 11. Builds capacity and supports the development of the members of the Association for the implementation of the mission of the Association; 12. Supports the real engagement of children and young people in social processes through the development of their personal, creative and civic potential; 13. Stimulates the active life and the participation of people of the elderly in public processes by working with them and for them; 14. Contributes to the creation of a favorable environment for the exchange of knowledge and experience between generations; 15. Works actively in the field of respect for and protection of human rights; 16. Works actively for the development of media and media policy at local, national and international level, according to the European principles; 17. Contributes to enhancing mutual awareness and broadening international contacts in the spirit of intercultural understanding and within the framework of the European Union's policy; 18. Develops techniques and good practices for implementing local, regional and national initiatives in the field of regional development, media, youth, education, culture and business; 19. Promotes the active participation of young people in the formation of tolerant societies without prejudice, the stimulation of social integration and the development of democratic values ​​and intercultural exchange.
