Strategy Board of the Territorial Strategy under the Bulgaria - Türkiye Programme 2021-2027 held its 2nd meeting

The Strategy Board of the Territorial Strategy under the Interreg VI-A IPA Bulgaria - Türkiye Programme 2021-2027 adopted a Methodology for Identification of Project Ideas and a Guide for Application with Concept Notes. Approved documents are an important step in the actual launch of the implementation of the Strategy.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Revision of Guidelines for Pre-defined Applicants under the 1st Restricted Call for Strategic Proposal of the Bulgaria-Türkiye Programme 2021-2027

The Guidelines for Pre-defined Applicants under the 1st Restricted Call for Strategic Proposal of the (INTERREG VI-A) IPA Bulgaria Türkiye Programme were amended by a decision of the Monitoring Committee from 13 March 2023.

The revised Guidelines for Pre-defined applicants can be found HERE.

The updated deadline for submission of the Strategic Project Proposal is 23rd of March 2023, 17:00 h. local time in Bulgaria.

The first meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the (Interreg VI-A) Bulgaria-Türkiye Programme 2021-2027 took place on December 1, 2022 in Edirne, Türkiye.

The European Commission approved the INTERREG VI-A IPA Bulgaria-Turkiye 2021-2027 Programme

The European Commission approved the Cross-border Cooperation Programme between Bulgaria and Turkey for the period 2021-2027 with a Decision of November 22, 2022.

Over the next 7 years, over 34 million euros will be invested in the regions of Burgas, Yambol, Haskovo, Edirne and Kirklareli.

The largest share of the program budget, nearly 25 million euros, is aimed at investments in integrated territorial development with a focus on the specific needs of the region. Under this priority, projects in the field of tourism and services of general interest will be supported.
